Since all twitter apps now require oauth my old echofon broke, and since they refuse to do oldschool retweets I was looking for someone with your opinion.

I salute your point of view and would have loved to use tweetagora if it wasn't for the fact I use an Android. But perhaps one day in the future you'll make an Android version, eh?

Very cool. I do like the placement and organization of the buttons relative to the table options below.

Thanks for the feedback Rick!

We intentionally made the Reply/RT/DM buttons more prominent than the other (table) options, though perhaps too much so. We've got a new theme coming which should be a little easier on the eyes (might post a preview soon)

The larger avatars and coloured names are a nice touch. I find the timeline easier to make sense of than other apps.

I just downloaded TweetAgora last night, so I don't have too much experience with it. Lots of things I like, only few that I prefer on the Twitter app.

I find the reply, retweet, DM buttons in a tweet menu are a little too prominent. But that's a personal view on the aesthetic. Love the gestures for quick reply/retweet.

I agree: I like the RT-style retweets way better. I like the option of adding to the conversation vs. just repeating what's already been said.

The ability to use old style retweets is a make or break for an app for me as I love to get my word in. I do like a tweet-time decision with whether or not I want to just use the old way or the new way.

It's EXTREMELY annoying in Twitter for iPhone that you cant see who retweeted you with the new RT in your reply timeline. I THINK i'll be saying something funny, and no RT's. Then log in to Tweetdeck on my desktop and see many new RTs.

Options are always valued, but I did see a lot of people complain when hootsuite made the default RT the new way.

I'm really glad you keep RT-style retweets as the default and change new-style retweets into RT-form. Whenever I try out a new twitter client, that's the first thing I check. Seeing random strangers in my timeline is a deal-breaker!

That said, I do think it's smart of you to give people the option of using the new-style retweets for long messages.

Glad to hear things are running smoothly now!

The phantom 'Load More Tweets' button occasionally appears when you've got a bunch of filters applied. It's not ideal (and sometimes you'll see them back to back), but it's something we haven't yet been able to figure out a fix for

Wouldn't you know, the very day I get up the nerve to complain is the day Apple approves your new version and everything is fixed!

It's working just great now -- no stalling, no freezing, timeline loads fast, even uploading a picture worked!

The "load more tweets" bar does appear in funny places sometimes... this morning I read all of last night's tweets, then refreshed to see if anyone had said something new. There was one new tweet, and immediately underneath it was the "load more tweets" bar. But It turned out there really wasn't anything new hidden under there... not a problem, but I'm not sure it's acting the way you want it to act :)

Hi Kara, thanks for the feedback & sorry for the problems you've been having.

Version 1.2 of TweetAgora just went live on the App Store, and it adds a ton of stability & speed improvements (plus twitpic support, native RT's, Instapaper/ReadItLater, more services to mute, etc). If you upgrade TweetAgora you should notice a big difference. You may need to go to Settings > TweetAgora > Clear Local Data to get the speed increases on loading (we lowered the number of stored tweets)

Thanks for putting up with our growing pains - we really appreciate that you've stuck with us, and please feel free to let us know what you think of v1.2!
